Delphi Automotive Systems Appoints New
Director of its D.C. Office
TROY, Mich., Feb. 22 Delphi Automotive Systems
has named John T. Anderson director of its Washington D.C. office, effective
March 1. In his new position, Anderson will be building and maintaining
Delphi's relations with the branches of the federal government along with the
Washington media, as well as supporting Delphi's regulatory initiatives in
Washington.

"With his extensive media background and overseas experience, John will be
an asset to Delphi's Washington office as principal liaison to the media, in
addition to his government relations duties," said Ron Beeber, Delphi's
corporate director of government and community relations.
After nearly three years overseas serving as the regional communications
director for Delphi's Asia Pacific Operations, Anderson will be returning to
the U.S. Reporting to Beeber, he will continue to serve as a liaison for
communications to the Asia Pacific region. Anderson will represent company
interests as lawmakers and business trade associations consider issues of
environment, technology, trade, labor, tax and other public policies.
Prior to his overseas assignment, Anderson was public affairs manager at
Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems in Lockport, N.Y. From 1987 until 1993, John
was a media relations coordinator and staff assistant in the Washington office
of General Motors Corp. Anderson, 44, graduated from Michigan State
University with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. He also completed the
International Management Program at Thunderbird American Graduate School of
International Management in Phoenix, Ariz.
