AutoZone Announces Second Quarter Conference Call

    MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 20 AutoZone, Inc. , will
release final results for the second quarter ended February 10, 2001, after
market close on Tuesday, February 27, 2001.  Steve Odland, chairman and chief
executive officer, will host a one hour conference call beginning at 4 p.m.
(CST) to discuss the results of the quarter.
