Ricardo Awarded ISO 14001 Certification

    BELLEVILLE, Mich., Feb. 20 Ricardo, Inc., today announced
it has been awarded ISO 14001 certification, an internationally accepted
standard for the implementation of an environmental management system.  The
certification was issued by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

    Ricardo, Inc., is the U.S. subsidiary of Ricardo plc, founded in the early
1900s, with its world headquarters in the United Kingdom.  Ricardo is one of
the world's foremost independent automotive and powertrain engineering
consulting companies.  Ricardo is a leading engineering technology provider,
supplying research, design and development services to the world's automotive
manufacturers and their suppliers.

    This award certifies that Ricardo, Inc., has successfully implemented the
proper documentation and procedures that must be in place corporate wide to
meet the environmental requirements that apply to the design, development,
analysis and program management of vehicle and powertrain technologies and
assembly of driveline systems for the automotive industry.
