AMA Tours offers eight great reasons to ride
PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- AMA Tours has continued to expand its lineup of
professional, organized motorcycle tours for the 2001 season. Since 1987, AMA
Tours has developed a limited annual portfolio of motorcycle tours to attractive
international and North American destinations.
For the upcoming riding season, AMA Tours is offering eight different
touring opportunities?the largest number ever offered. The following AMA Tours
are available beginning this spring: Sonomafest West Coast Quest (Pacific Coast)
from April 27-May 6, Canadian Maritimes (Nova Scotia and Newfoundland) from June
11-25; the AMAzing Alps (Italy, Switzerland and France) from June 30-July 13;
England and the Isle of Man (Manx Grand Prix) from Aug. 24-Sept. 6; Conquer the
Canyons (the U.S. Southwest) from Sept. 8-18; Chasing the Colors (the Blue Ridge
and the Great Smoky Mountains) from Oct. 7-16; South African Safari from Nov.
1-17; and New Zealand from Jan. 14-Feb. 2, 2002.
"Our limited tour selection allows us to dedicate more time to refining
each tour, and we take a very hand-on approach to running them," says AMA
Director of Travel and Tours Frank Covucci. "This helps our clients get to know
us and their fellow tour members. The end result is often a unique rider
camaraderie, which is probably a big reason why folks tour with us and keep
coming back."
AMA Tours are available to AMA members and nonmembers alike, with proceeds
from the tours going back to the AMA to help protect all motorcyclists' right to
ride.
