Coming this year to Daytona Bike Week: AMA/Will Stoner Swapmeet

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- A new version of the popular AMA/Will Stoner Swapmeet

will come to the "Birthplace of Speed"?Daytona International Speedway?in

conjunction with the AHRMA Vintage Road Races held in March during Bike Week.

At the swap meet, set for March 5-6 in the speedway infield, spectators

will be able to take in the vintage racing action and search for that missing

piece for their own classic in the swap meet area that will be along the south

edge of the International Horseshoe turn. The swap meet will also host the AHRMA

Concours bike show, and vintage bike clubs can have complimentary space for

their gatherings.

"We're extremely excited to be able to have one of our meets at such an

historic venue, and it's a perfect match to be with the AHRMA races," says Will

Stoner, AMA Special Events Director.

The swap meet runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Spectator admission to

the Swapmeet is included in the price of an infield pass to the Speedway. Passes

are $20 per day, and parking for four-wheel vehicles is $5 per day. Motorcycles

park for free both days.

Vendor spots are $100 per 20-foot-by-20-foot space for both days. Each spot

includes a two-day infield pass, and up to four additional workers can purchase

passes for half price. Swap meet sales are limited to bikes, parts, literature

and memorabilia only. All Florida taxes and BMV regulations apply.

For more information, or to rent a swap meet space, call the AMA at (614)

856-1900.
