2001 Philadelphia International Auto Show Shatters Attendance Records!

           211,896 Show-Goers the Most Ever in the 100-Year History
                       Of The Auto Show in Philadelphia

    PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 20 The Automobile Dealers Association
of Greater Philadelphia today announced record-breaking attendance results for
the 2001 Philadelphia International Auto Show, which parked at the
Pennsylvania Convention Center from February 3-11.

    The auto show broke attendance records on seven of the nine show dates,
including opening day, and shattered total attendance records for the nine-day
event.  Total attendance was 211,986, 21 percent higher than last year's
attendance and 18 percent higher than the previous record set in 1998.

    "We are absolutely thrilled at the results of this year's show," said
Chuck Peterson, chairman of the 2001 Philadelphia International Auto Show.
"Our history-making attendance is indicative of how important this show has
become to the consumers in the greater Philadelphia region."
