PPG'S LeBoeuf to Speak at Morgan Stanley Chemical Conference
PITTSBURGH--Feb. 20, 2001--Raymond W. LeBoeuf, board chairman and chief executive of PPG Industries, will be a presenter tomorrow during Morgan Stanley Dean Witter's conference for chemical industry analysts and investors in New York.LeBoeuf will describe management's continuing growth and cost strategies to deliver shareholder value during the next three years for the Pittsburgh-based maker of coatings, glass, fiber glass and chemicals.
PPG's earnings increased nine percent in 2000 from those in 1999, to $620 million; per-share earnings were $3.60, up 10 percent. Sales grew eight percent, to $8.6 billion.
