Allied Automotive Group Announces Change

    DECATUR, Ga., Feb. 20 Allied Holdings, Inc.
today announced that William (Bill) R. Burgess, president of its Allied
Automotive Group, Inc. unit, has left the company, effective immediately.
    Robert J. Rutland, Chairman and CEO of Allied Holdings, said, "We have a
strong management team remaining in place at Allied Automotive Group, and this
group is committed to working with their customers through the economic
slowdown currently underway in the automotive marketplace."
