Cimatron's 'Quick Tooling' Sales Reach Record High in 2000; Leading CAD/CAM Vendor Announces Worldwide Recognition of Quick Tooling

GIVAT SHMUEL, Israel, Feb. 15 Cimatron Ltd.
, a leading developer of integrated CAD/CAM software for tooling
processes, today announced the Company's year-end 2000 sales of its new and
innovative Quick Tooling applications.
Quick Tooling is comprised of QuickCompare, QuickSplit and QuickElectrode.
Each application is an integral part of Cimatron's tooling solutions and can
be used as a stand-alone application in conjunction with other CAD/CAM
software. The applications increase the productivity and automation of a
particular task in the tool-making process.
In 2000, Cimatron sold over 1000 Quick Tooling applications worldwide,
with 47% of sales in Europe, 39% in North America and 14% in Asia Pacific.
Projections for 2001 include significant sales in Asia Pacific, particularly
Japan and China, where Cimatron has been a key market player for over a
decade. Leading the Quick Tooling sales was QuickSplit with over 500 copies
sold. QuickElectrode, released in Q4 2000, sold over 200 copies by year-end.
Executive VP of Marketing Nadav Katz commented: "Quick Tooling is the
result of concentrated research at various mold tool and die facilities around
the world. We are confident that sales will rise significantly and will even
double in 2001."

QuickCompare assists the tool designer in determining the scope and effect
of engineering changes on the tool design and manufacturing process.
QuickCompare graphically marks the differences between two geometry files and
documents the changes in a CAD file. The typically long and uncertain CAD
investigation process is significantly shortened and the application ensures
that all engineering changes are located in a shorter time.

QuickSplit is a splitting application that automates the search and
separation of core, cavity and sliders, and assists in determining the number
of actions needed to create a mold. QuickSplit identifies the parting lines
and generates the parting surface. The application's embedded Draft Angle
Analysis and action simulation enable several trial and error iterations in a
very short time -- resulting in optimal draw directions.

QuickElectrode automates the electrode creation process. It is a
stand-alone application, which can also be used as an add-on to an existing
Cimatron system. Burn area analysis and extraction, detailed electrode design,
documentation, manufacturing and managing a multi-user electrode project
highlight this revolutionary application.
