Amcast Declares Dividend

    DAYTON, Ohio--Feb. 15, 2001--Amcast Industrial Corporation announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable March 26, 2001, to shareholders of record March 8, 2001.
    Dividends paid by Amcast have been uninterrupted since 1936.
