Cross Country Automotive Services to Open Additional Customer Contact Center in Sebring, Florida

Sebring Contact Center to Support Emergency Response Services for Automotive
Manufacturers, Insurance Companies, and Other Industry-Leading Organizations

SEBRING, Fla., and BOSTON, Feb. 15 Spurred by continual
growth, Cross Country Automotive Services (CCAS) today announced plans to open
their fourth contact center in Sebring, Florida. Governor Jeb Bush welcomed
the announcement that the Cross Country center will employ over 365 people,
most of whom will be recruited from the local community.
"I want to thank Cross Country Automotive Services for its commitment to
Sebring," said Governor Bush. "The creation of 365 new jobs is critical to
the economic vitality of Sebring and Highlands County, and this rural
community will greatly benefit from Cross Country Automotive Services'
decision to locate here."
The 37,184 square foot center is expected to open in June 2001. The new
site will be located at 3300 U.S. 27 South in Sebring and is currently in
renovation under the direction of FWH Architects of Holiday, Florida.
Cross Country selected Sebring, Florida as the location for their new 260
seat facility after a long and complex analysis of over 100 potential
locations in the Eastern Time Zone. Cross Country utilized the services of
Harrington Consulting Group, Inc. a Massachusetts firm that specializes in
site selection.
"Our team aggressively recruited and worked with the CCAS team to show
them the benefits of locating in Sebring, and we are extremely pleased that
our efforts were successful in creating additional employment in Highlands
County, Sebring and our region," stated Jim Stanfill, Executive Director,
Highlands County Economic Development Commission.
Michael A. Saxton, President and CEO of Cross Country Automotive Services,
"At a time when many organizations are experiencing flat or dipping business
results, it is rewarding to be expanding our operations to include Sebring.
It has always been our exemplary service that has ensured our future growth.
Now, our Sebring center will join our Boston and Tucson centers to continue
our legacy of providing the best services in the industry."
The Sebring contact center will support CCAS' emergency response services
where individuals covered under new car warranty programs, insurance policies,
or affinity memberships can obtain road service 24 hours per day, 365 days per
year. CCAS' clients include over half of the automotive brands -- including
Chrysler, Dodge, and BMW, among others, half of the nation's top property-
casualty insurance companies, and several wireless carriers, financial
institutions and affinity groups.
