Seattle's local CBS affiliate, KIRO channel 7, on Tuesday, February 13, 2001.

The article addresses the issue of children's safety on public school buses
and the need for federal mandates.  Requests for mandatory restraints on
public school buses have been repeatedly denied due to the lack of a strong
argument in favor of seat belts.  Majestic Transportation has created a
solution that could resolve the issues regarding children's public
transportation safety-the SAFE-T-BAR(TM).
    The newscaster cited the advantages of the SAFE-T-BAR, stating, "In a
rollover situation it stays in place while giving a child or adult something
to hang on to while they manage their escape, unlike a seatbelt which, when
released, can send a child falling several feet."
