Harrisburg, N.C. - The Jeff Gordon Foundation, a non-profit organization, is hosting an online auction to raise money for charity.
The online auction is currently featuring a Jeff Gordon Daytona 500 practice helmet with a special "NASCAR 2000" paint scheme. In addition, the Foundation is now auctioning off two (2) tickets and pit passes to the March 25, 2001 NASCAR Winton Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Bids are now being taken at the website: AFundraiser.com.
The Jeff Gordon Foundation was established by three-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon and his wife Brooke. The Foundation is dedicated to help support the physical, social and intellectual needs of children and their families throughout the United States.
The Foundation has chosen to primarily support three charities that represent Jeff and Brooke's commitment to children and their families. The charities are: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, and The Marrow Foundation (which includes The Hendrick Marrow Program). The Foundation will also support various other charitable organizations on a case-by-case basis.
