Alamo and National Raise Rates $3 Per Day Nationwide

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Feb. 13, 2001--Effective March 1, Alamo and National, divisions of ANC Rental Corporation , will raise rates in the United States by $3 per day and $20 per week on all non-contracted business.
    "During the last year, vehicle and operating costs have increased significantly, while rates have dropped below last year's levels. This increase is a necessary move for ANC," said Karen Beard, president Alamo and National.
