Chrysler Group Announces 'Our Awards Are Your
Rewards' Program
New Sales Incentives Include 0.9% Financing
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 12 Chrysler Group today is
announcing a new incentive program, including financing as low as 0.9%,
consumer cash up to $2,000, or a combination of the two. The program will run
through April 3, 2001.
"Now that our turnaround has started, we want to concentrate on selling
SUVs, cars and trucks," said Dieter Zetsche, Chrysler Group President & CEO.
"We have repeatedly said that product will move this company forward, and our
award-winning vehicles are the basis for our confidence in the successful
future of the company."
In addition to Bill Elliott's Dodge Intrepid R/T winning the pole position
for next weekend's Daytona 500, Chrysler PT Cruiser was named "North American
Car of the Year" and "Motor Trend Car of the Year," the Jeep Grand Cherokee
was named "4x4 of the Year," the all new Chrysler Sebring Sedan received the
highest rating in a federal government crash test, and an independent research
firm calls the 2001 Chrysler and Dodge minivans "the best minivans ever."
Following are highlights of the program:
SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Cherokee, and Dodge Durango are available
with $2,000 consumer cash or 0.9% financing for 36 months, or a combination of
$1,000 consumer cash and 0.9% for 36 months.
MINIVANS
All 2001 Dodge and Chrysler minivans are available with $1,500 consumer
cash or an attractive 0.9% APR for 36 months, or a combination of $1,000
consumer cash and an APR as low as 2.9%.
TRUCKS
2001 Dodge Ram 1500 is available with $2,000 consumer cash or 0.9%
financing for 36 months, or a combination of $1,000 consumer cash and 0.9% for
36 months.
2001 Dodge Dakota is available with $2,000 consumer cash or an APR as low
as 0.9% for 24 months, or $1,000 consumer cash and 0.9% for 24 months.
CARS
2001 Chrysler Sebring Sedans and Coupes and Dodge Stratus Sedans and
Coupes are all available with $1,000 consumer cash or 0.9% financing for 36
months.
