FuelNation Completes Its R2R Technology Platform Demonstrations And Commences Marketing Of Its One Penny ($.01) Per Gallon Solution

BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 12 FuelNation Inc.(TM)
(OTC Bulletin Board: FLNT), a global logistics communications and energy
company, announced today it completed its R2R technology platform and
commenced marketing its One Penny Per Gallon Solution to the worldwide
petroleum industry. Preliminary indications received have been enthusiastic.
FuelNation's technology platform was designed to solve the problem most
major oil companies face from lack of controls and outdated technology used
when distributing petroleum. As fuel leaves the port of the oil company to be
trucked to a final destination, there has been no way to assure these
companies that the fuel dispensed at a retail location was in fact the same
product. Major oil companies test this fuel through "spot" testing,
estimating that inefficiencies in the distribution process cost them in excess
of $500 million annually in lost revenue. It is currently estimated that the
annual consumption of refined petroleum products is approximately 1.1 trillion
gallons. FuelNation would receive one cent for each gallon of refined
petroleum products that is sold using its technology.
Recognizing this niche opportunity, FuelNation developed its One Penny Per
Gallon Solution to solve this costly lapse in the logistics of fuel
distribution. FuelNation installs an electronic tank gauge at a "retail"
location. It also installs a broadband satellite connection that provides the
retailer with connectivity solutions for Internet, credit card processing,
live point of sale information, live tank monitoring and wide area network.
FuelNation also installs a Global Positioning System (GPS) device on the
delivery truck which tracks the exact load of fuel to every "retail" location.
Concomitantly, FuelNation connects to the major oil companies to receive
prices, invoices and bills of lading. It electronically delivers this
information over the wide area network, which simultaneously connects to the
"retail" point of sale, ATM, electronic tank gauge, cameras, back office,
automating approximately 50 of the 70 tasks performed by the "retail"
location.
"We made a tremendous investment in time and resources to develop our One
Penny ($.01) solution," said Chris Salmonson, FuelNation's President and CEO.
"Oil companies, marketers, transports, gas stations and convenience stores
worldwide can't afford not to ultimately use our R2R technology. The
petroleum industry currently absorbs in excess of five and one-half cents per
gallon of fuel in attempting to mitigate this problem. Yet the losses have
not stopped, and in fact are continually mounting. We have received favorable
indications that our R2R technology could revolutionize the industry. We are
excited about the tremendous potential our technology affords."
