PACLEASE SEATTLE NAMED PACCAR LEASING'S WESTERN REGION FRANCHISE OF THE YEAR

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Western Pacific Leasing has been named PACCAR Leasing Company's Western Region Franchise of the Year. A full-service truck rental and leasing company, Western Pacific Leasing, a PacLease franchise, has been serving the Puget Sound area since 1986. It's the third year in a row that the company has won the regional award. They took home the PACCAR Leasing North American Franchise of the Year award in 1998, along with Peterbilt's National Dealer of the Year award and the ATD Dealer of the Year in 2000.

The latest recognition was presented to Larry MacDonald, franchise general manager. "We've been very successful in our market and have achieved double digit growth every year since 1995," said MacDonald. "We have more Class 8 trucks on full-service lease than an other leasing company in our region. We have a saying that 'anyone can lease you a truck, but not everyone can lease you a quality, well-spec'd truck like our Peterbilts -- and back it with local and national service, maintenance and road-side service programs which we feel are second to none.' It is this combination that has made us so successful."

According to MacDonald, his team of 31 employees were thrilled with winning the honor for the third straight year. "It reflects highly on our dedication to customer service," he said. "When we get a new customer, we believe we'll have this customer for life -- they'll be that satisfied with our performance."

According to Tim Henebry, executive vice president & general manager of PACCAR Leasing, the franchise is one of the shining stars in the PacLease system. "They've taken their customer service approach and have gone into four new markets (Sacramento, Portland, Yakima and Pasco) this year," he said. "The know what it takes to be successful and we anticipate they'll be leaders in these new markets very shortly. By doing their homework and taking time to learn and understand their customers' business, they've developed partnerships which have led to a high level of customer satisfaction."

Western Pacific Leasing operates PacLease locations in Seattle, Portland, Ore., Pasco, Wash., Tacoma, Yakima, Wash., and Sacramento, Calif.
