Budget Group Appoints Former Credit Agricole Indosuez Executive as Treasurer

    LISLE, Ill., Feb. 8 Budget Group, Inc. , parent
company of Budget Rent a Car Corporation and Ryder TRS, Inc., today announced
the appointment of Katherine L. Abbott, a 13-year executive with Credit
Agricole Indosuez, as vice president and treasurer.
    Abbott, age 49, most recently served as managing director in the National
Banking Group of Credit Agricole Indosuez where she headed asset-backed and
agribusiness finance.  Prior to joining Credit Agricole, Abbott held the
position of assistant treasurer for Container Corporation of America.
    Abbott earned an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and a B.S.
degree from Indiana University.
