A.C.L.N. Signs Contract for 31,000 New Cars

    LIMASSOL, Cyprus--Feb. 6, 2001--A.C.L.N. Ltd. , today announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase more than 31,000 new automobiles.
    The company expects to sell and ship these cars through its wholesale automobile distribution service over the next 12 months. The company reported that it has received orders and deposits for the cars covered under this agreement.
    The company also announced that it shipped more than 10,000 cars in January 2001 as a part of its automobile logistics services from Europe to North and West Africa. This compares with approximately 6,000 cars shipped during January 2000.
    "We are pleased with the volume in our logistics business in what is traditionally a month characterized by low volumes compared with the rest of the year," remarked Joseph Bisschops, chairman of A.C.L.N.
    "The tremendous demand we experienced last year in our wholesale automobile distribution business has continued into 2001. We are encouraged by the incredible growth we have experienced since we began this line of business in February of last year," commented Aldo Labiad, president and chief executive officer of A.C.L.N.
    "Our wholesale automobile distribution service helps achieve our company goals of capitalizing upon opportunities in the underserved markets for automobiles in Africa while continuing to diversify our revenue sources."
