Synapz Names Lockhart Vice President of
Sales
NORTHVILLE, Mich., Feb. 6 Synapz, a leading e-commerce
solution provider serving the automotive market, has recently appointed Harry
H. Lockhart as vice president of sales. In this position, Lockhart will be
responsible for directing all field sales operations in North America for the
company.
With more than 16 years of Internet technology experience, Lockhart held
sales and marketing management positions at a number of high-tech companies
prior to joining Synapz. Most recently, he was area director for Eloquent,
Inc. -- a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of web-based media business
communication solutions.
From 1997 to 1999, he served as vice president of field operations for San
Rafael, Calif.-based Maxager Technology -- a leading provider of advanced
profit analysis solutions for capacity optimization.
Previously, he worked for Dell Computer in Round Rock, Texas, where he
worked in the Enterprise Account Division with responsibility for Great Lakes
Sales Operations. Before that, he spent two years as founder and senior sales
executive for Unified Network Systems in Raleigh, N.C.
Earlier, Lockhart served as an area vice president for NetFRAME Systems,
Inc. -- the original manufacturer of the Super Server class of computing
devices. In this position, he helped to develop the key framework for
managing the integration of direct and indirect sales operations. In
addition, he developed the Network MainFRAME Architecture Plan (NMAP) -- a
program for providing services and consulting to ensure high availability
operations to business critical network applications.
He held a number of sales positions of increasing responsibility at Sun
Microsystems in Mountain View, Calif., from 1985 to 1989.
Lockhart earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the
University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Md.
He serves on the Board of Directors for Pipeline Inc. -- a company devoted
to the development of sales management effectiveness headquartered in
Rockville, Md.
A native of Washington, D.C., Lockhart currently resides in Kensington,
Md.
