A Record-Breaking Opening Day for the 2001 Philadelphia International Auto Show!

    PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 5 This past Saturday marked the highest
opening day attendance in the 100-year history of the Philadelphia
International Auto Show!
    More than 31,000 people visited the 2001 Philadelphia International Auto
Show on Saturday, February 3rd, marking the second consecutive year in which
the show set an opening day record.
    "We are thrilled that the show has been met with such enthusiasm," said
Chuck Peterson, 2001 auto show chairman.  "There's something for everyone at
this year's auto show, and our record-setting opening day is indicative of how
important this show is to the consumers in the greater Philadelphia region."
    The Philadelphia International Auto Show is produced by the Automobile
Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia and runs through Sunday,
February 11.  Show hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
on Sundays, and noon to 10 p.m. on weekdays.  Admission is $9.00 for adults,
$5.00 for children (7-12), and free for children six and under.  Senior
citizens (62 and over) receive a special admission price of $5.00 on weekdays
only.
