Planet Salvage Elects Former Western Auto
Chairman, John Leach, as Chairman Of Its Board of
Directors
LENEXA, Kan., Feb. 5 Planet Salvage has appointed John
Leach as Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. He formerly served as
Chairman and CEO of Western Auto from 1977 to 1996 and held several executive
level positions for the Auto Store Group of Sears Roebuck and Co. from 1971 to
1977.
"Mr. Leach's reputation and qualifications are well known throughout the
automotive industry. With his leadership, we will be able to better position
the company to take advantage of the many opportunities that are emerging in
the automotive parts market place. We are very excited about John's

Leach has 25 years experience in the automotive care industry and
currently serves as CEO of Autopact Company. Prior to his appointment as
Chairman, Leach served on the Planet Salvage Board of Advisors and is an
investor in the Company.
