AutoFirst's 24-Hour Wireless Channel
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Feb. 5 Kanakaris Wireless said it will feature an ad-sponsored
original program series AutoFirst as part of the programming for its upcoming 24-hour
worldwide wireless channel.
To whet the appetite for viewers, the Company announced that it had beaten all the
major automotive news sources to a scoop regarding the plans of Porsche to build a
Boxster Coupe.
"We have learned from a reliable source that Porsche is testing in a focus
marketing group the response to a Porsche Boxster Coupe. The proposed car,
for which a model has been shown to current Porsche customers, would include a
fixed roof with a lift-up hatchback for storage. Among the cars it is being
compared to by Porsche in its market study are the BMZ Z3 coupe, a Mercedes
coupe/convertible, and the Corvette, according to our source," the Company
said.
Kanakaris said that there is potential ad revenue for an audio/video
program featuring interviews with car industry leaders and previews and
reviews of cars.
"There are things you can do on our wireless channel that you can't do in
a print magazine, and we have the ability to break in with news live 24-hours
a day," said a spokesperson.
Kanakaris will announce more of the features of its wireless channel,
which will include movies, entertainment features, technical news and other
pop culture content, in the near future.
