NHRA: Jeg's trucks to regroup for Gainesville

Mike Coughlin and his yellow and black Jeg's Chevy S-10 took on Todd Patterson in the first round. The reaction time advantage went to Patterson by .021 seconds (.432 to .453).

The Dodge and Chevy raced door-handle-to-door-handle all the way down the track. Patterson took the win light by .009 seconds at the stripe. Mike ran a quicker 7.557 at 178.73 mph.

"We made a lot of changes to the Jeg's machine all weekend long. The guys did a great job," explained Mike. "I am normally not on the short end of the stick when it comes to leaving the starting line. I feel bad about letting the guys down, but we will be ready when we get to Gainesville for the Mac Tools Gatornationals."
