Porsche Reports Best January in History; U.S. Sales up 7

ATLANTA, Feb. 2 Porsche Cars North America (PCNA),
importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States and
Canada, today announced its best U.S. January retail sales numbers since 1985
and its best North American January retail sales numbers in history. U.S.
retail sales for the month totaled 2050 cars, an increase of 7 percent over
January 2000. In addition, Porsche Cars Canada sales were up 33 percent. Total
North American retail sales were 2121.
