TicketsWest and Pikes Peak International Raceway Sign Full Service Multi-Year Ticketing Agreement

    SPOKANE, Wash., Feb. 1 TicketsWest, a subsidiary of
WestCoast Hospitality Corporation today announced an exclusive
ticket selling agreement with Pikes Peak International Raceway, located in
Fountain, Colorado.  Pikes Peak International Raceway, the only superspeedway
in Colorado, has a capacity of approximately 43,000 and has increased
attendance each year since the state-of-the-art facility opened in 1997.
Events at the raceway attract some of the best drivers and teams in the
motorsports industry each season.
    Tickets for events at the raceway will be available through the facility
as well through TicketsWest's King Soopers outlet distribution system and on
the Internet at http://www.ticketswest.com or http://www.ppir.com.  Ticket sales for Pikes
Peak International Raceway will be available through King Soopers starting
February 19, 2001.  "This is a wonderful venue and we're very excited to have
the opportunity to partner with Pikes Peak International Raceway in an effort
to increase the visibility of their events and allow ticket buyers easy access
to available seats," said Jack Lucas, Vice President, TicketsWest.

    Pikes Peak International Raceway will feature four major race weekends of
racing in 2001.  On May 19-20, PPIR hosts the Jelly Belly 200 NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series presented by Dodge and Sunstate Equipment Company 100 NASCAR
Featherlite Southwest Tour Series.  June 16-17 will feature the return of the
Indy Racing League with the running of the Radisson Indy 200 Northern Light
Series and the USAC Coors Light Silver Bullet Series.  July 27-28 marks the
return of the NASCAR Busch Series with the running of the NAPA AutoCare 250
and the Colorado 150 NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge Series.  The season ends the
weekend of August 25-26 with the running of the Cruise America AMA Superbikes
presented by Suzuki.
    Pikes Peak International Raceway is part of a growing list of
entertainment events offered through TicketsWest/King Soopers outlets.  Other
available tickets include Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies, ski lift
tickets to numerous Colorado area ski resorts, and events at the World Arena
in Colorado Springs.  TicketsWest expects to add additional venues in the
upcoming months.
