McLaren Performance Technologies Names Panzl
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
LIVONIA, Mich., Feb. 1 Livonia, Mich.-based McLaren
Performance Technologies announced today that it has appointed
Chris J. Panzl as the company's vice president and chief financial officer
(CFO), effective immediately. In addition, he becomes part of McLaren
Performance Technologies' senior management circle.
Panzl joins McLaren Performance Technologies with 15 years of experience
in the banking, investment and manufacturing community.
Most recently he served as vice president and partner for Metropolitan
Capital Group, a commercial and residential lender/broker.
Prior to this position, he was vice president for M&I Bank in Milwaukee.
Panzl also served as CFO for Uni Boring Co., Inc., an automotive powertrain
component manufacturer.
"With his unique expertise in strategic planning, mergers and acquisition
analysis and negotiation, and corporate finance, Chris is the perfect fit as
we prepare to rev-up McLaren Performance Technologies," said Steven Rossi,
president and chief executive officer.
As vice president and CFO, Panzl -- who will be based at the company's
Livonia, Mich. headquarters -- is responsible for managing the company's non-
operations segments, including finance, planning, internal communications,
public and investor relations, human resources, facilities, information
systems, legal activities and non-operations purchasing. Panzl will also
assist the company's management team in coordinating special projects and
acquisitions.
Panzl replaces Jacqueline K. Kurtz who recently resigned from her position
as executive vice president - business infrastructure and CFO of the company
to pursue personal interests in other areas.
A graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., Panzl is
also a licensed pilot and a member of the U.S. Aerobatic Flying Team.
