Delphi Partners With EDS to Achieve New
Desktop Technology Vision; Agreement Further Streamlines
Delphi Desktop Function, Provides Cost Savings
PLANO, Texas, Feb. 1 EDS today announced the
signing of a new multi-year agreement with Delphi Automotive Systems
, the world's largest automotive supplier, in support of Delphi's
effort to further streamline its worldwide desktop and messaging environments.
The Delphi - EDS agreement will deliver a more efficient and cost-effective
desktop technology environment.
The new agreement, effective January 2001, enables the Delphi Global
Common Desktop and Messaging Program (DGDP) users to take advantage of EDS'
efficiency-enhanced business model.

customers' best supplier by giving us a common desktop environment that
enables greater responsiveness and productivity," said Delphi Vice President
and Chief Information Officer Peter H. Janak.
