    The Phoenix Motorsports team races the PartsAmerica.com title-sponsored 2000 Ford F150 PRO Series truck. Utilizing a 450 hp Ford SVO 351 V8 fed by a 650 CFM Holley carburetor, the truck races in both endurance desert and short track stadium venues and reaches speeds of more than 135 mph.
    Led by 16-year veteran racer Cobb, the Phoenix Motorsports team competed in its first race of the 2001 off-road series at the Laughlin Desert Challenge Jan. 17-22 and finished first in Sunday's 52-mile endurance desert race.
