Clarion Technologies Appoints Former Johnson Controls Executive Thomas Wallace as Chief Operating Officer

    HOLLAND, Mich., Jan. 31 Clarion Technologies, Inc.
today announced that it has named Thomas Wallace as the
Company's Chief Operating Officer
    Mr. Wallace joins Clarion Technologies after four years with automotive
supplier Johnson Controls, Inc. and 14 years with Prince Corporation, which
was acquired by Johnson Controls in 1996.  From August 2000 until joining
Clarion, he served as Johnson Controls' General Manager of Joint Ventures.
Prior to last August, Mr. Wallace for four years was a General Manager for
Interiors - Europe, overseeing operations that generated $250 million in
revenues.  In this capacity, he was responsible for manufacturing, purchasing,
human resources, finance, and information technology at six facilities in
England, France, Sweden and Belgium.  Mr. Wallace earned his bachelor's degree
in business at Ferris State University and an M.B.A. from the University of
Michigan.
    Clarion President Bill Beckman said, "Tom's extensive industry experience
in operations both domestically and internationally makes him a key addition
to our management.  Tom also will prove an asset in the area of integration
following mergers and acquisitions -- experience we will leverage to further
streamline the operations we have built through acquisition during the past 24
months."
    On joining Clarion, Mr. Wallace said, "The Company's leadership and

Clarion's innovative approach as a supplier should prove very successful, and
I look forward to playing a role in that success."
    Clarion Technologies, Inc. operates six manufacturing facilities and a
technical design center with a total of approximately 700,000 square feet
located in Michigan, Ohio and South Carolina.  Clarion's manufacturing
operations include 150 injection molding machines ranging in size from 50 to
