New Penn completes new terminal and expansion of Buffalo area facility
LEBANON, Pa.--Jan. 29, 2001--New Penn Motor Express, a subsidiary of Arnold Industries, Inc. , has completed construction of a new facility in the Buffalo, NY area. The new facility serves greater Buffalo and portions of Western New York and Pennsylvania. The terminal also serves as a major gateway for freight to and from Ontario, Canada.
The new 55-door facility, situated on an eight-acre site, was made necessary by the growth New Penn has experienced in the region during the past 15 years, and particularly to and from Canada. It replaces a 25-door facility on three nearby acres.
The new terminal facility is located on Transit Road in the village of Williamsville at Exit 49 of the New York State Thruway. New Penn employs approximately 50 people in Buffalo.
