    WARREN, Mich., Jan. 26 Michigan Rivet Corporation
announces its results of operations for the fourth quarter and year ended
October 31, 2000.
    Sales for the quarter ended October 31, 2000 were $10,860,000, 8.9% less
than the comparable period in 1999.  Net income was $471,000 or $.73 per share
for quarter ended October 31, 2000 compared to $1.33 per share in 1999.
    For the year ended October 31, 2000, sales were $43,123,000, down 6.8%
from 1999.  Net income was $1,891,000 or $2.95 per share compared to a net
income of $2,392,000 or $3.75 per share in 1999.
