AAA Nebraska Joins The Auto Club Group Holding Company

DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 25 During a brief "closing" ceremony
at its Omaha headquarters last week, the AAA Nebraska Board of Directors made
official the club's affiliation with the Dearborn-Michigan-based The Auto Club
Group. The 200,000-member Nebraska-wide organization joined AAA Chicago Motor
Club, AAA Michigan and AAA Wisconsin to bring The Auto Club Group membership
to more than 3.25 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, AAA Nebraska becomes part of the
organization through a holding company arrangement.
"We are building a strong and dynamic regional enterprise that enhances
the overall level of service we provide members," said Charles H. Podowski,
president and CEO of The Auto Club Group.
"Customer service is a core competency of our organization," he said.
"The Auto Club Group and its affiliates are growing stronger because of our
carefully chosen alliances and our affinity with members. We continue to
improve our technology-based customer-service operation and the products and
services we offer our members."
Robert F. Stubblefield, Chairman and CEO at AAA Nebraska said: "by
combining our strengths, our members, employees and the entire AAA
organization will benefit."
AAA Nebraska's affiliation with The Auto Club Group is the most recent in
a series of actions by AAA clubs across the country to consolidate and combine
operations to improve service to members, insurance policyholders and travel
clients.
