Christmas Promotion Puts Sledgehammer Under One Tree

MIRA LOMA, Calif.--Jan. 25, 2001--Ultra Motorcycle Co. ("UMC") (OTCBB: BIKR), Thursday announced that Ultra Motorcycle Co. dealer, Easyriders of Cincinnati and radio station WEBN put more than a little holiday cheer into this past Christmas for one local resident when they turned over the keys to a new 2001 Ultra Sledgehammer.
This same model (together with two other Ultra motorcycles) will be featured in the Walt Disney Co. production "Bubble Boy," scheduled for release this summer.
According to Bruce Kraemer, owner of Easyriders of Cincinnati, the Sledgehammer giveaway promotion, which ran from Dec. 1 through Dec. 23, was open to all customers with entry forms available at one of the radio station's remote broadcasting locations where the bike was on display. A total of 50 finalists were randomly selected from several thousand entries and invited to a Sledgehammer Giveaway Christmas Party put on by the Easyriders store.
During the festivities, each finalist picked a key from a bucket of 50 keys and tried to match the key to the bike's ignition. It took 48 tries before Ferna Mae Walters, a local resident and patron of the Easyriders store, made the match that fired the beautiful silver and flamed machine from UMC. A true enthusiast, Walters noted that there were a total of 11 bikes in her family, but the Sledgehammer was unique and certain to have family members fighting over its keys.
The company thanks Easyriders of Cincinnati and radio station WEBN for their efforts, which help promote public awareness in the company's sport and more importantly, a positive image of the biking community in general. And the company congratulates Walters and her family, who are certainly going to cherish every mile in the saddle of their new Sledgehammer.
