Synapz Names Raymond VP of Business
Development
NORTHVILLE, Mich., Jan. 25 Synapz, a leading e-commerce
solution provider servicing the automotive market, has recently appointed
Michael J. Raymond as vice president of business development. In this
position, Raymond is responsible for setting up distribution channels and
value-added reseller distribution programs for the company.
Prior to joining Synapz, Raymond served as co-founder and president of
Quest IV, Inc., a high-tech software and consulting company, for more than 20
years. In this position, he created and maintained worldwide strategic sales
and marketing alliances, as well as designed and implemented a program
targeted at vendors and consultants.
From 1972 to 1979, Raymond served as director of management information
systems for Faraday, Inc., in Tecumseh, Mich. There, he was responsible for
all department functions and was instrumental in the implementation of the
complete manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and financial accounting
systems.
Earlier, he also served the company as a systems analyst, supporting the
existing MRP system, and as a programmer.
Raymond earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from
Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich. A native of Hudson, Mich.,
Raymond currently resides in Jackson, Mich.
