Mr. Lube Greases New Business
KANATA, Ontario--Mr. Lube, a Canadian provider of preventative vehicle maintenance with more than 87 franchised and company stores stretching from Victoria to Halifax, has recently launched “Mr Wash” and “Mr. Detail” operations. And soon it plans to float a fleet of mobile units aimed at creating “a one-stop automotive preventative maintenance company.”
Also, the company has recently formed a strategic partnership with Castrol for specialty lubricants. Founded in 1976, “Mr. Lube provides a complete range of automotive maintenance products and services focusing on competitive prices, convenient locations and fast, friendly, reliable service.”
Meanwhile, a company called Calian is to provide an eLearning solution to standardize Mr. Lube’s training programs. The Learning Centre will ensure that company information is easily accessible among the franchisees. The training is targeted at a variety of end-users, including front-line employees, franchise owners, management, and site evaluators. “By implementing the Learning Centre, Mr. Lube hopes to improve customer service, improve employee productivity, improve quality and consistency of service, expand its business, and build credibility through staff certification programs.”
