Advance Ranks Arvin No. 1

ROANOKE, Va.--Advance Auto Parts has bestowed its Supplier of the Year award for 2000 on ArvinMeritor’s Motion Control Systems Aftermarket Group. The annual honor recognizes “companies that have delivered outstanding quality for products and services, as well as demonstrating a continuous commitment to building strong partnerships.”

Advance said it chooses award winners based on judging criteria such as world-class quality, delivery, warranty, purchasing, marketing, program management and technical development requirements.

The awards ceremony took place at the Advance Auto Parts Managers’ Conference and Vendor Expo, held in Orlando, Fla.
