Hayes Lemmerz Announces ISO 14001 Registration
of Additional Operations
NORTHVILLE, Mich., Jan. 24 Hayes Lemmerz International,
Inc. , a leading global supplier to the automotive and commercial
highway industries today announced that six of its facilities have received
ISO 14001 registration, making it 12 manufacturing facilities worldwide to
achieve this distinction.
The six recently registered Hayes Lemmerz facilities include:
Automotive Brake Components Operations in Homer, Mich.;
Powertrain Components Operations in Petersburg, Mich.;
North American Fabricated Wheels Operations in Sedalia, Mo.;
North American Suspension Components Operations in Bristol, Ind.;
North American Fabricated Wheels Operations in Bowling Green, Ky.;
European Fabricated Wheels Operations in Manresa, Spain

ISO 14001, considered the benchmark of environmental excellence globally,
is an international standard that specifies requirements for organizations'
environmental management systems, established by the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO). Strict adherence to these
requirements is closely monitored internally and audited annually by an
independent ISO 14001 Registrar.
