Calian Awarded Contract for Mr Lube Employee Training
KANATA, Ontario--Jan. 23, 2001--CALIANCalian is pleased to announce that its e-Services division has been awarded a contract by Mr Lube to design and build a prototype of an electronic learning centre that will provide its employees and franchisees with company knowledge in a consistent and cost effective manner.
Calian will provide an eLearning solution that will meet Mr Lube's business objectives of standardizing its delivery of training and ensure consistent training and information to all employees across Canada. The learning centre will ensure company information is easily accessible in all of Mr Lube's 87 franchisees and will shorten the time required to achieve the desired learning outcomes. The training is targeted at a variety of end-users, including front-line employees, franchise owners, management, and site evaluators. By implementing the learning centre Mr Lube hopes to improve customer service, improve employee productivity, improve quality and consistency of service, expand its business, and build credibility through staff certification programs.
