LA QUINTA, Calif.--Jan. 23, 2001--Xtime, the technology leader in enterprise-class e-scheduling, today announced that it will preview the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and wireless capabilities of its robust time inventory management platform at Upside Event's Showcase 2001. Xtime empowers enterprises to better manage and market their time-based services, and will demonstrate these new features on Tues., Jan. 23 and Wed., Jan. 24 at the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, Calif.
"Xtime is pleased to be able to demonstrate the world's first interactive voice response and wireless solutions for e-scheduling, CRM and resource management services," said John Stewart Lee, founder and CEO of Xtime. In addition, Xtime's technology has been adopted by OneBody Inc./OneBody.com, a leading company in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) that offers consumers access to more than 65,000 CAM providers. Today, health care professionals, including Kay Stewart, D.C., a San Francisco-based chiropractor, can offer patients the option of making appointments online or via IVR over the phone. OneBody.com reaches more than seven million consumers through its contracts with health plans, including Blue Shield of California and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
In addition, Xtime's clients include three of the top national automotive maintenance chains, one of Europe's largest car manufacturers, one of Europe's most successful travel Web sites, and four publicly-traded Silicon Valley-based technology firms, including eGain and Interwoven.
Xtime's comprehensive technology platform, TIMEngine, is the only platform of its kind enabling enterprise service automation, including service customer relationship management, enterprise resource management, time inventory management and 24-7 self-service electronic scheduling. Enterprises that benefit from Xtime include those delivering consumer services such as automotive maintenance, eye care, and tax preparation; professional services such as consulting and technical training classes; and customer services including call centers and help desks. TIMEngine's customizable e-business solutions, available online, or via IVR and wireless, are built with open standards, and are supported by technology from Sun, Oracle, ATG and BeVocal for reliability, security and scalability.
BeVocal, an award-winning provider of voice infrastructure software, applications and services, announced on Jan. 22 that Xtime will use BeVocal's platform to bring voice- scheduling capabilities to its customers. The deal enables Xtime to deploy, test and run enterprise-level time management solutions on BeVocal's robust, carrier-grade network. Xtime also gains preferred access to BeVocal's development environment.
"Showcase is an ideal launching pad for companies that will shape the digital economy in the coming year," said Jesse Berst, Showcase executive producer. "Following a rigorous selection process, we selected Xtime as a Showcase demonstrator, and we're pleased our audience of industry leaders, venture capitalists, developers, investment bankers, and media and analysts will have the opportunity to be among the first to evaluate Xtime's new features."
