Visteon Beaming Over OE Satellite Radio

DEARBORN, Mich.--Visteon Corp. will develop and supply its MACH Satellite Digital Audio Radio System for an undisclosed future Ford Motor Co. vehicle.

To bring this technology to the vehicle, Visteon has established a strategic partnership with Sirius Satellite Radio to provide motorists with the ability to receive satellite radio broadcasts, including up to 100 channels of digital-quality radio coast-to-coast throughout the continental United States. Sirius will broadcast from its three orbiting satellites to Visteon’s MACH Satellite Digital Audio Radio System 50 channels of commercial-free music in virtually every genre, and up to 50 channels of news, sports, talk, comedy and children’s programming.
