Cote Replacing Gorman At TRW

LYNDHURST, Ohio--TRW Inc. has selected David Cote to replace Joseph Gorman as chief executive officer.

Cote will take over the top job of CEO in February.

Gorman, 63, will remain chairman and a board member until July 3, 2001, the company said. It is expected that Cote will become chairman of the company at that time.

Cote was elected president, chief operating officer and a director of TRW in Nov. 1999.
