ABRA’s Ryan ASE Tech. Of Year

MINNEAPOLIS--Stephen Ryan, general manager of ABRA’s Fridley, Minn. location, has been selected as the Snap-On/ASE Master Collision Repair & Refinish Technician of the Year.

According to Tim Adelmann, ABRA’s chief operating officer, “As this award points out, Steve is one of the consummate professionals in our industry. He has incredible pride in his work and his chosen career, which shows through in the way he treats his team members and customers. We are extremely fortunate to have Steve on our team, and hope that he continues to receive the industry recognition that he so justly deserves.”

The award was presented at ASE’s annual Board of Directors’ Industry Awards dinner, where Ryan was one of several ASE certified technicians nationally recognized by different segments of the automotive service and repair industry.

“This industry has been my passion since high school,” Ryan said. “I am extremely honored that I was given this award, but my day-to-day satisfaction comes from seeing our customers’ delight when their vehicles are returned to them in pre-accident condition.”

Ryan, who has been employed with ABRA Auto Body & Glass for 13 years, was selected for the award after meeting criteria set by Snap-On Tools, and excelling on the ASE automobile certification exams, which was taken by more than 220,000 technicians nationwide.
