F-M Ranks Highest Among E-Biz
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Federal-Mogul Corp. is the highest-ranking motor vehicle parts supplier in eWEEKs FastTrack 500 list--an annual ranking of top e-business innovators.
Federal-Mogul ranks 77th among the 500 companies in this years eWEEK listing, published Nov. 13. EWEEK, a leading information technology trade publication focusing on e-business, bases the ranking on each companys penchant for investing in cutting-edge e-business technologies and the robustness of their on-line presence.

Federal-Mogul is aggressively applying a variety of e-business initiatives throughout its global operations. It recently launched an Internet service through which global automotive replacement parts distributors can access a broad range of information and perform business-to-business transactions with the company. In addition, Federal-Mogul has an Internet-based application allowing high-volume suppliers to interact directly with the company, and has participated in on-line surplus asset auctions.
Federal- Mogul was among the first major suppliers to join Covisint, the business-to- business automotive Internet exchange, and has been active in its development.
