B-W Cooling Getting New HQ
MARSHALL, Mich.--Ground has been broken to launch construction of the BorgWarner Cooling Systems Headquarters and Technical Center. The facility is located in the Brooks Industrial Park here; and it will house all North American based research, technical, application and product engineering personnel and administrative staff.
“The synergistic environment will supportBorgWarner’s plans for growth through innovative product leadership,” said John McGill, the division’s president and general manager.
The architect selected for the project is Design Plus Inc. from Grand Rapids, Mich. Miller-Davis, located in Kalamazoo, Mich. is chief contractor for the project. The 56,000-plus square foot facility will be located on 5.3-acre lot, allowing for future expansion. Plans for occupancy are slated for October 2001.
The BW division is a global provider of engine cooling systems. The main company operates 60 manufacturing and technical facilities in 13 countries.
