PartZone Changes Name To NextPart

EVANSTON, Ill.--PartZone Inc., a distributor of recycled auto parts, has changed its name to NextPart Inc.

“Our new name more accurately reflects our emphasis on recycled parts, the timeliness of our service and our national geographic scope,” said Eric Koenig, president and chief executive officer. “This step, along with our recently-announced logistics and transportation management relationship with USF eLogistics, demonstrates our commitment to redefining the standards for superior performance in online distribution of recycled auto parts.”

The company also said it has modified its website in response to initial customer feedback. “Our redesigned user interface offers greater simplicity and functionality,” Koenig said. “We also modified the way parts are displayed, to make it easier for customers to select the exact part they need.”

In addition to online ordering, NextPart allows customers to place orders by telephone by calling toll-free 866-NEXTPART. “We have offered this option from Day One because customers told us it was important to them,” Koenig said.
