Wrenchead Nails Down $2 Billion
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-- Wrenchead Pro Systems has landed more than $2 billion in contracts with warehouse distributors.
Contracts with numerous suppliers including members of Parts Plus, Auto Value, Bumper to Bumper, Pronto and Federated--plus several independent warehouse distributors--are already in place. According to the company, Wrenchead Pro will benefit those businesses by reducing costs through eliminating manual orders and minimizing returns, improving cash flow and generating additional revenue by providing analytical tools that will enable the wholesaler/jobber to maximize inventory turns, improve fill rates and speed of delivery.
Wrenchead has a line of service offerings called Pro Lite, Pro Manager and Service Center Locator. They aim to bring the nontraditional e-commerce network to the aftermarkets current distribution channels.
The companys Pro Lite system is now operating and fully integrated with warehouse distributors--accounting for more than 500 distribution points. Significant roll-out of the service dealer parts look up and ordering system has begun in ten states. That process is being streamlined because Wrenchead Pro Systems is compatible with almost all of the most popular systems currently utilized by jobbers and warehouse distributors today, said Wrenchead President Chris Parker.
Based on our preliminary results, Wrenchead Pro Lite is already proving its value by streamlining the entire process, said Parker. Our customers tell us that as their comfort level with this new technology increases, these systems will improve their profitability.
Parker added that Wrenchead Pro is an industrial strength, e-commerce-enabled software product designed for the aftermarket industry. Through technology, we are adding value to the current supply chain, not reinventing it. In effect, we are increasing profitability for all parties by using this technology to link installers with suppliers more efficiently. We will become the operating system of the aftermarket.
A free business-solution software program for installers, Wrenchead Pro Lite links those individuals to their current suppliers, permitting installers to access needed parts and check pricing and availability.
Wrenchead Pro Manager is a turnkey shop management solution that is offered at a small monthly fee to installers. Developed with all the features of Pro Lite, Pro Manager also provides the installer with the ability to manage inventory control, accounts receivable, appointment scheduling, customer follow-up and warranty tracking, point-of-sale, technician time card maintenance and vehicle history. It also includes the Mitchell Labor Guide for creating accurate job estimates. Pro Manager is a streamlined, integrated system that enables service technicians, service writers and shop owners to be more productive while automating administration.
Wrenchead Pro Lite and Pro Manager also help installers get onto the Information Superhighway by offering them computer access through a partnership with CompUSA, whereby installers can purchase or lease computers at low monthly rates. It has always been our intent to become the industrys standard e-commerce company,'' said Wrenchead.Com Inc. Chief Operating Officer Bryan Murphy. Our independent, holistic approach to the market is intended to provide a diverse range of services and tools for the business-to-business sector. We intend to be at the cutting-edge in creating new, leading technologies that will continue to serve this evolving market.
