Jaguar Cars North America Appoints New Vice President Of Customer Care

    MAHWAH, N.J., May 18 Jaguar Cars North America announces
the appointment of Gary Temple to the position of vice president of Customer
Care.  Temple will report directly to Mike O'Driscoll, president of Jaguar
Cars North America, and will be responsible for Customer Satisfaction,
Consumer Affairs, and Parts and Service operations.
    Temple will be a member of the senior management team at Jaguar.  Previous
to this appointment Temple held several key management positions at Jaguar,
most recently the position of National Service Manager.
    "Gary is assuming an executive role in our company at a momentous time,"
commented O'Driscoll.  "Our business is growing at a rapid pace as we
challenge ourselves to reach aggressive sales and marketing goals."
    Temple replaces Dale Gambill, who has assumed the position of vice
president, Global Six Sigma Development.  Temple's appointment was effective
May 1, 2000.
