Leisure Travel Vans Ltd. PO Box 1208 Hwy. 3 E, at Rd. 28 W Morden, Manitoba R6M 1B1 Canada Web site: http://leisurevans.com Leisure Travel Vans has been making camper vans since 1978. The preferred platform was most frequently the Dodge full-size van, until Dodge discontinued that model. With its strong connections to Daimler-Chrysler, Leisure Travel Vans began discussing the possibilities of using the new Sprinter chassis with its Mercedes-built 5-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Introduced as a 2003 model, Leisure Travel was the first manufacturer to build a Class B motorhome on the Sprinter chassis, and it has proven to be an outstanding choice. Each year, Leisure Travel builds approximately 500 Free Spirit motorhomes at its 55,000-sq.ft. facility in Morden, Manitoba, Canada about 130 miles north of Grand Forks, North Dakota. With approximately 75 employees, the company is committed to building a class-leading motorhome exclusively on the Sprinter 2500 chassis. Under development is a new Class C Sprinter 3500-based motorhome with a wider fiberglass body shell and more room and amenities than the popular Free Spirit, which will continue to be offered. Owners Club: Regional clubs exist through Canada and the U.S., each with its own activities, rallies and club nam |
