Cadillac Vehicles at the 2004 LA Auto Show

Cadillac CTS
With performance developed at the famed Nürburgring racetrack in Germany, the Cadillac CTS sports sedan for 2004 is offered with an all-new 3.6-liter, 255 horsepower V-6 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, as well as a 3.2-liter, 220 horsepower V-6 equipped with a 5-speed manual. A new CTS-V version, developed by the new General Motors Performance Division and equipped with a 400 horsepower V-8, will debut in 2004.

Cadillac SRX
Built in Lansing, Michigan, the SRX is Cadillac’s ‘crossover’ vehicle. Available in both rear- and all-wheel drive configurations, the SRX is offered with a choice of 3.6-liter, 260 horsepower V-6 or 4.6-liter, 320 horsepower V-8 engines. Both are mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, and, equipped with the optional towing package, SRX is rated to pull 3,500 pounds.
Cadillac XLR
The XLR is Cadillac’s new high-performance luxury roadster built in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Powered by an all-aluminum, 4.6-liter, 320 horsepower V-8, the XLR’s 5-speed automatic transmission is mounted at the rear, resulting in a 50/50 weight distribution, improved handling and increased interior room. The XLR also features a retractable hardtop that changes from a coupe to a convertible in 30 seconds.
